Day One: Attackers Focus on Evasion
This session will feature an insightful threat intelligence presentation, Lauren Krukar and Ferando Tomlinson* will lead a discussion on Cyberwarfare during global conflicts- Just what does Taiwan invasion look like for cyber? What is the impact of DPRK IT Workers? and Operationalizing Cyber Threat Intelligence - Collecting, analyzing, and integrating threat data into Army security operations. In addition, we will discuss current strategies and initiatives to develop public and private partnerships to strengthen national resiliency and increase visibility into cyberattacks that threaten critical infrastructure and national security interests.
Day Two: The Battle Continues
Just like the Army, Google’s Mandiant security team is always on the frontlines, investigating and analyzing the latest cyber attacks, understanding how best to defend against them. During this session, Karlo Arozqueta will lead an overview and discussion on Mandiant Security Validation - How to proactively test and validate the effectiveness of security controls and Mandiant Threat Intelligence - Navigating quickly between actors, malware, tactics and vulnerability reports to get a 360-degree view of ongoing threats.
