IMDEX Asia – Asia Pacific’s Flagship Maritime Defence Show

IMDEX Asia 2013, 9^th edition in the series, will be held from 14 to 16 May 2013 at the Changi Exhibition Centre in Singapore. The event is set to deliver again another holistic and integrated experience that creates invaluable opportunities for maritime defence representatives across the globe.

IMDEX Asia is Asia Pacific’s only dedicated international maritime defence event. Supported by the Republic of Singapore Navy, this biennial exhibition and conference is a one-stop opportunity for key decision makers from the navy and international maritime defence industry to keep abreast with the latest maritime defence technologies and developments in the region.

In 2011, IMDEX Asia brought over 166 participating companies from 38 countries and more than 70 VIP delegations from 42 countries. It also saw the participation of 40 Chiefs of Navy, Deputy Directors-General of Coast Guard and Vice-Chiefs as well as 7,840 trade visitors from 55 countries. This marked the show as the “must-attend maritime and defence event” on the global defence calendar and reinforces IMDEX Asia as the platform of choice for key stakeholders, industry representatives, senior military and defence officials and maritime experts with the opportunity to meet, network and conduct pertinent discourses to positive affect the maritime community. In addition to the various commercial interactions, the 2011 event hosted two high-level conferences, the International Maritime Security Conference (IMSC) and the Naval Technology Conference (NTC). These conferences brought together key maritime defence industry stakeholders, facilitating high-level information exchanges and forging strong working partnerships.

The upcoming IMDEX Asia 2013 is a comprehensive three-day event packed with:

Dedicated exhibition showcasing the latest maritime defence technologies, services and systems
Two high-level conferences, namely the International Maritime Security Conference (IMSC 2013) and International Naval Engineering Conference @ IMDEX Asia (INEC@IMDEX Asia 2013), to address strategic security and safety issues and present the latest technologies on naval platform design and developments as well as industry technical workshops
Numerous networking events that present unlimited business opportunities
Spectacular display of warships from all over the world

SHOW INFORMATION

The 3-day exhibition will bring together more than 150 of the world’s leading maritime defence companies, with a comprehensive showcase of the latest maritime defence technologies and developments.

Exhibition Opening Hours:
14 May 2013 (Tues)	12:00noon – 5:30pm
15 – 16 May 2013 (Wed -Thu)	9:30am – 5:30pm

Last admission time at 5pm.

Admission to the Exhibition is complimentary and open to trade visitors and professionals only. Minors aged 18 years and below will not be admitted into the show. Participants are required to be appropriately attired; no shorts and slippers are allowed. All passes are to be collected onsite at the registration counters.

Warships Display Opening Hours :
15 – 16 May 2013 (Wed -Thu)	10:00am – 12:00noon
15 – 16 May 2013 (Wed -Thu)	2:00pm – 4:00pm

Last shuttle bus from Changi Exhibition Centre will leave at 3pm.

The warships on display are berthed at Changi Naval Base. Guests who are interested in visiting the warships, please proceed to the Changi Exhibition Centre shuttle bus waiting area and board the Warships Visit shuttle bus. This shuttle bus service is complimentary for all trade visitors.
