Investing in Peace, Minerals, Energy, and Regional Integration in Central Africa

A historic, U.S.-brokered peace agreement between the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Rwanda is set to be signed in Washington. At its core: improving regional governance and coordination for mineral supply chains, incentivizing foreign investment beneficial to the region and the United States.

To discuss the opportunities and challenges for U.S. investment in minerals and energy in the DRC, BENS invites you to a timely, hybrid roundtable discussion with Nkenda Nzinga, Deputy Director and U.S. Representative for the Agency for the Steering, Coordination and Monitoring of Cooperation Agreements between the DRC and its Private Partners (APCSC), and Selina Hayes, Founder and CEO of the Hayes Group International.

Together, we’ll discuss what this peace deal signifies for geopolitics and supply chains across regions.

Participants are invited to join the conversation virtually or in person at the BENS office in Washington, D.C. Connection details will be shared upon registration.
