DOD Cyber Workforce Summit

On March 24-26, 2026, the DoW CIO will host Cyber Workforce Summit 2.0 with support from AFCEA International and the National Defense University. To succeed in today’s environment, the Department of War must continue forging a qualified workforce to win in cyberspace.

This three-day conference will provide a forum where attendees can expect to:

  • Gain a clear and direct understanding of the DoW 8140 framework and what its implementation means for your specific role. DoW CIO representatives will help you master your path to readiness as they share vital  information about the framework, CES, and Cyber Academic Engagement initiatives.
  • Gain senior leader perspective by hearing the strategic vision and operational priorities firsthand from senior leaders of USCYBERCOM, DISA, the Joint Staff, and the Service CIOs.
  • Leverage new knowledge to enhance your own skills from leading industry and academic partners from their exhibits and presentations of innovative technologies and training methodologies.
  • Learn firsthand advanced cyber tactics as current and future leaders from U.S. Service Academies and Senior Military College (SMC) Cyber Institutes battle a live OPFOR in the Cyber Workforce Competition, demonstrating emerging tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).

Don't miss this unique opportunity to hear directly from DoW, Service leadership and subject matter experts and learn about the path forward toward cyber workforce readiness in support of operations in the information environment.
