Awards Night Reception 2026

AFCEA CMD hosts an annual Awards Night where we bring together students, teachers, sponsors, members, Government, and guests to celebrate scientific education achievements from throughout the year. We distribute over $300,000 in scientific education funds through scholarships and grants to students and schools. We will recognize local area high school seniors receiving scholarships. These deserving students will start their first year of college in the fall to pursue degrees in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field of study. We will recognize teachers and schools who received Kickstarter grants to bring STEM education into the K-12 classroom. The selection process for all awardees is handled tirelessly throughout the year by the various AFCEA CMD Education Committees.  Awards Night is a reception where you can network with the scholarship and Kickstarter recipients, spend time viewing the student demonstrations (more this year!) and participate in the award presentations. Food will be available at various stations around the ballroom. Join us as we celebrate our future STEM leaders!
