Copilot in the Classroom: Empowering Educators in Teaching and Learning
As K–12 education institutions begin to apply AI in practice, one of the most important areas of impact is the classroom. For educators, the opportunity is not just to save time, but to enhance how lessons are designed, delivered, and assessed—while keeping teaching expertise at the center of the learning experience.
This session focuses on the K–12 educator experience, showcasing how Microsoft 365 Copilot supports teaching and learning through practical, classroom-ready scenarios. From lesson design and differentiated content to assessment creation and streamlining grading and feedback, you’ll see how AI can support everyday instructional workflows while preserving instructional intent and quality.
We’ll also explore tools available to educators at no additional cost—including Copilot Chat, Copilot Notebooks, Study and Learn, and the Teach module—and how they can be used across classroom scenarios. In addition, we’ll address critical considerations such as academic integrity, appropriate student use, and maintaining the educator’s role so institutions can adopt AI responsibly and effectively.
As part of the Becoming AI Ready in Education webinar series, this session builds on earlier discussions and shows how AI can be applied in teaching and learning environments.
