Growth Acceleration Workshop for Government Technology Contractors



The George Washington University Virginia Science and Technology Campus (VSTC) based in scenic Ashburn, Virginia will launch the "Technology Acceleration Zone" initiative in Fall 2015 to drive public value through private growth in partnership with transformation catalysts Launch Dream, LLC and GOVonomy, Inc.

 

The Goal:

 

The goal of the GW Technology Acceleration Zone is to systematically bring federal, state and local governments, government technology contractor community and transformative technology suppliers together to build better, faster and more cost effective business technology solutions for the public and private sectors and to help grow the regional technology economy.

 

Mini-Transformation Workshops:

 

As a prelude to the launch of this initiative, the GW Technology Acceleration Zone will host "mini-transformation workshops" in June 2015 to introduce the concept, as well as to showcase presentations from transformative, high growth technology companies. Speaker and Presenter Information

Nitin Pradhan has 25+ years of experience in delivering results focused transformation within organizations. Nitin is currently the Managing Partner of GOVonomy and the CEO of Launch Dream. The goals of these two initiatives are to improve the public sector through introduction, integration and assimilation of transformative products, platforms and services.

 

Nitin was a first term Obama administration appointee and award winning, nationally recognized federal CIO for the US Department of Transportation (US DOT) where he provided IT leadership, vision, strategy, policy and oversight for US DOT’s more than $3.5 billion annual IT portfolio, the 6th largest in the federal government.

 

Earlier, Nitin was the IT Executive at Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS), the 12th largest school district in USA. Nitin has also been the Managing Director of the prestigious Virginia’s Center for Innovative Technology (CIT), which is focused on technology, based economic development and the CEO of a wireless startup, TechContinuum.

 

Nitin has a BS in engineering, MBA in marketing, and MS in accounting.
