AFCEA International Air Force ISR Industry Day

Welcome to Air Force ISR Industry Day 2016!

The United States Air Force continues to emphasize Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) as one of its five core missions, critical to joint and coalition operations across the spectrum of conflict. Air Combat Command retains AF-wide responsibility for the core function of Global Integrated ISR, with enduring requirements to provide decision advantage and precision attack to the joint force. Global Integrated ISR capabilities include collection, analysis, targeting, and ops-intel integration.

On May 24, 2016, the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for ISR, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, and AFCEA Intelligence will present the fourth in a series of annual classified (SECRET) forums that will describe the world-wide threat environment, provide an understanding of Air Force strategy for improving ISR capabilities, and highlight gaps in capabilities where the private sector’s help is needed.

Presentations will build upon the tenets and priorities of core Air Force documents: Call to the Future, the Strategic Master Plan, and the Air Force Future Operating Concept. But the focus is on ISR across air, space, and cyberspace. Discussions will include development, fielding, and funding strategies as well as future requirements. Speakers will address Air Force requirements to ensure high-quality intelligence for war fighters and other theater customers and what is required to enable operations across the full range of military operations. In addition, speakers will highlight requirements for Air Force contributions to global situational awareness in the form of integrated air, space, and cyber ISR operations, as well as analysis and data dissemination.

The day will conclude with a panel featuring the day’s speakers addressing questions from the audience.

We look forward to seeing you at Air Force ISR Industry Day 2016!
