AFCEA International NGA Industry Day

Welcome to NGA Industry Day 2016!

Information-sharing and partnering are essential for keeping our nation ahead of today’s complex security threats. To facilitate government-industry innovation, AFCEA Intelligence and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) are sponsoring a full-day classified (SECRET) event dedicated to identifying areas of possible collaboration and business opportunity to help enable and accelerate NGA’s strategic vision. The event will be held at NGA’s Springfield facility on March 16, 2016.

NGA Director, Robert Cardillo, will kick off the day, discussing NGA’s envisioned future state and highlighting potential areas for government-industry collaboration.

Director Cardillo will be followed by sessions focusing on:

• The resource landscape
• NGA IT services transformation
• Acquisition improvements
• NGA hard problems
• Areas of Industry support to NGA services
• Business opportunities  

Throughout the day, specific emphasis will be placed on providing information so that companies can better:

• Understand NGA’s needs and challenges
• Identify potential partnering opportunities
• Structure research and development toward assisting with the Agency’s priorities
• Anticipate upcoming business opportunities to include future Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI)

Ms. Susan Gordon, NGA’s Deputy Director, will provide closing remarks summarizing the Agency’s priorities for the near term.
