ATARC Federal Cloud & Data Center Summit

The ATARC Federal Cloud & Data Center Summit will be held on August 3, 2017 at the Washington Marriott at Metro Center in Washington, D.C. (Cloud & Data Center Summit Agenda)

This educational, one-day symposium will examine the Cloud tools and techniques being used by the Federal Government to provide agencies with greater efficiency and cost savings. The event is free to government and full-time academics and qualifies for 7.5 CPE credits from (ISC)², the World’s largest IT security organization. 

The MITRE-ATARC Cloud Collaboration Symposium will discuss and white-board various cloud "challenge areas” and produce a White Paper with recommendations for the Federal government.  The following challenge areas will be discussed: 

1. Innovation Challenges in the Cloud & Data Center Environment

2. After the Migration: Pairing DevOps with Cloud Services

3. The Impact of Standards on Government Cloud Usage

4. Measuring the True Cost of Cloud

5. Cloud Computing in Healthcare

Also included is the ATARC Cloud & Data Center Technology Showcase, which features the latest in cutting-edge technology from leading innovators in the cloud & data center community. This event provides government participants the ability to conduct valuable market research.

The host organization for the ATARC Federal Cloud & Data Center Summit is the Advanced Technology Academic Research Center.  ATARC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides a collaborative forum for government, academia and industry to resolve emerging technology challenges.  ATARC also introduces innovative technology from academic research labs to the Federal government and private industry.
