Get an overview of recent changes to laws and policies affecting employment law in Arkansas.

Specifically, the topics will cover recent legislative changes and recent cases relating to Arkansas laws affecting employment, such as: medical marijuana use, wage & hour, discrimination and retaliation in employment, non-compete agreements, and more. Additionally, a portion of the presentation will review the current status of pending changes to similar federal legislation and administrative enforcement rules by the DOL, EEOC, and NLRB.

Attendees will learn of the recent legislative changes to Arkansas employment laws and hear updates on various federal employment laws and policies. This information will empower administrators, supervisors, HR professionals, and other policymakers to review and analyze necessary changes to employer policies and procedures pertaining to a variety of employment issues, such as exempt job classifications, drug testing, labor relations, harassment reporting procedures, and more.
