Acquisition Excellence 2019

The most expansive explosion of innovative activity in federal acquisition in a quarter of a century is continuing to gain power as it spreads across the government, bottom to top, and side to side. The theme of this year’s Acquisition Excellence (AE) Conference is Acquisition Innovation in Action. 

The impact of successful acquisition innovation is truly remarkable, and the opportunities continue to multiply. AE will focus on how we are improving communication with industry to build valuable government market intelligence. The success of that will build organizations dedicated to brokering new kinds of relationships between government and industry.

AE will present examples from the Institute for Innovation project on successful acquisition innovation case studies for adoption, work of the acquisition innovation advocates and procurement innovation labs, implementation of legislative initiatives designed to improve acquisition, and initiatives of workforce insurgents determined to deliver on mission needs. AE will be a cornucopia of the best offerings from this harvest of innovative activity.  We hope it will serve up dishes that you will try for yourself.
