Cyber Education, Research, and Training Symposium (CERTS)

Building on CERTS 2019, AFCEA International will host the Cyber Education, Research, and Training Symposium (CERTS) in Augusta, Georgia, home of Fort Gordon and the Army’s Cyber Center of Excellence. CERTS brings government, education, research, and industry leaders together to focus on advancing cyber workforce development, retention, and support.

The overarching theme for 2020 is “Building the Cyber Workforce – Attract, Train, Educate, and Retain”. Industry, Government, Military, and Academic leaders will discuss current cybersecurity workforce challenges, issues, and needs through keynote presentations and panels.

Breakout sessions will take an in-depth look at how Industry, Government, Military, and Academia are addressing the cyber workforce from recruiting and training to on-the-job cyber professions.  Additional Symposium highlights will include extensive networking opportunities; Capture the Flag Exercises at both the secondary school and collegiate/professional levels; and a Research Poster Show featuring local secondary schools and colleges.

Opportunities to sponsor, exhibit, and present are available for all symposium participants – don’t miss out on year three of this important Cybersecurity event.
