The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) throughout the federal government has rapidly grown in the past few years, and so has the awareness of ethical issues associated with this new technology. AI systems can mimic or amplify human biases, can put human lives at risk, and can present new vulnerabilities to cyber-attacks. As is the case with many developing technologies in the past, human users have raised questions about the mistrust of these AI tools and safety concerns associated with them.

This hour-long program will bring together thought leaders from the public and private sectors for a look at challenges to and best practices for Creating Ethical AI Systems.
