Reducing Security's Cost Responsibilities
This event qualifies for * CPEs
his regional in-person symposium has been updated to a virtual event and is intended for practitioners from the New York metro area.
After re-orienting the business to function in a pandemic, organizations now have an economic downturn on their hands and must find ways to keep security programs functioning as investments freeze and budgets shrink. This virtual symposium will offer steps to do that, including how to:
- Conduct an effective gap analysis – reviewing the program as it exists, how much money is on hand for security expenditures and where redundancies and security holes are.
- Re-asses, consolidate and optimize security tools, weeding out expensive and unnecessary add-ons and spotting opportunities for more open source options.
- More effectively negotiate with security vendors for more reasonable pricing, tool packaging and subscription renewals.
