The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is a unified cybersecurity standard designed to reduce the theft of Controlled Unclassified Information from companies in the defense industrial base. With 171 controls spread across 17 categories, the CMMC is the most stringent cybersecurity standards ever developed.
