Chief Information Officers (CIOs) are the stewards of a new type of currency – Data. For data to achieve its maximum value, we should look at the role of the CIO and the processes he/she oversees similarly to how we hold Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) and even Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) accountable for an organization’s finances.

There will be two parts of the webinar: The first will be a conversation with government data executives and consumers on what it means to look at data with the same lens we look at finances and how that helps organizations meet Federal and Defense Data Strategy Goals. The second part of the webinar will be a fireside chat between Servicenow’s Global Government Chief Technology Officer with a government executive on the best practices (an pitfalls) in data management process planning.
