Security Awareness Summit

Join us for the 9th annual SANS Security Awareness Summit to learn, connect, and share with thousands of fellow security awareness and culture professionals from around the world. For this year’s event you have the choice of attending live online or in-person*.

The focus for this year is “Managing Human Risk”. Traditionally security awareness events have focused only on topics such as engagement, interaction, and gamification. While these topics are important and will be covered, we should remember that security awareness is about driving behavior change and ultimately reducing human risk. Join us to learn how to mature your security awareness program, from gaining the support you need from your leadership to having an impact that you can measure.

The 2022 Security Awareness Summit will feature:

• In-depth Summit Talks - The industry's top practitioners will share their latest security awareness research, solutions, tools, and case studies. Gain insight on the latest proven advances and approaches in communicating to, engaging and securing your workforce.

This Summit offers exclusive access to connect with your fellow Awareness community, leading experts and analysts, as well as SANS instructors and staff. • Closely Aligned SANS Awareness Courses - Enhance your knowledge base and add to your toolkit with a hands-on, immersive course taught by top SANS instructors and course authors.

On August 3rd, the Summit will run two tracks, one featuring speakers live in Austin, and the other streaming live virtual talks from speakers around the world.  All attendees will be able to choose talks from either track.  On August 4th, there will be a single track of talks featuring speakers live in Austin.  This will also be streamed for our virtual attendees.  The second track on August 4th features interactive workshops and is available only to those attending in person.
