The pace of technology is ever-increasing, moving too fast for most people to keep up with one sector, let alone multiple areas of interest. Recent developments in artificial intelligence, quantum computing, biotech and other areas have broad and deep implications for government, industry and people's personal lives.

Nation-states, corporate interests and other groups view these emerging technologies as competitive advantages or means to be used in information warfare, cyber attacks or for other nefarious purposes. While there are myriad sources of information related to the development of technology, few authoritative sources of ground truth exist and decision-makers are often left wondering what is hype and what is actually possible in the near- and mid-term time horizons.
