Health Innovation Summit 2024

The healthcare ecosystem is facing budget and staffing concerns; has interest in expanding technology capabilities to provide a better intersection between technology, healthcare, the provider and the patient; is experiencing repeated issues with intrusion, privacy and security; and has an undivided interest in sharing data throughout the entire healthcare network.  To accomplish these goals and objectives, and maintain an increasingly complex healthcare system, it requires automated support.  The need for change, the factor of cost, and the associated critical problems will impact the lives of millions of people today and in the future if not resolved. 

Examples include:

• The Office of the National Coordinator stated that 32% of patients experienced negative outcomes due to lack of medical data interoperability.
• Digital Assistants and chatbots are playing an increasing vital role in supporting healthcare professionals with treatments, diagnoses and medications.
• Blockchain solutions are enabling secure healthcare records as well as overall security.
• There is an ever-expanding array of sophisticated smart health devices being used that are tailored to the evolving patient needs and preferences.
• Security and regulatory compliance are indispensable ingredients in every healthcare solution.

With all that said, the Federal, state, local and private sector healthcare industry are the parties who are reliant on timely adoption of modern, innovative technologies.  The focus of this year’s Summit will be new healthcare technologies, innovative products and tools, use of AI in various components of the healthcare system, partnership and collaboration to improve the health ecosystem, and much more – with all of these components addressing the main question of :  How Innovation and Innovative Technology Can Improve Patient and Provider Experience.
