Congressional M&S Leadership Summit 2025
The world of artificial intelligence (AI) has been a center of Congressional discussion and some legislation for the past two years. The European Union (EU) has established top level legislative ground rules for AI in their AI Act. The United States is also facing decisions regarding the legislative role in the overall management of the proliferation of AI and its applications across our country. This Summit will explore the rapid expansion and advances of this technology, the role of federal policy and regulations, and the need to establish guard rails that protect Americans, our intellectual property and our safety and security. The potential of AI within modeling, simulation and training is exponential to support national preparedness, national response, and national security. Legislation can support the growth of AI within the context of these same parameters.
