Turning Visibility into Action with CDM
Government cybersecurity teams are tasked with understanding all threat vectors and use a wide range of tooling to do so (endpoint, identities, and networks). The Department of Homeland Security’s Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program is the go-to source for these kinds of tools.
However, different tools performing various functions create silos, and in between those disjointed silos lie risks. New tools are being introduced every month. The Government Accountability Office just issued a report noting the CDM program is falling short on network security and data protection, for instance. Risks can be mitigated by a single view across all assets across all systems.
One key gap in visibility is mobile. CDM has largely focused on traditional endpoints like servers and desktops, overlooking mobile devices—such as government-issued phones and tablets—which are now a major target for phishing, credential theft, and lateral movement. Zimperium helps close this gap by delivering mobile CVE and risk data to five federal agencies, giving them the visibility they need to secure all endpoint classes and build a complete picture of their threat landscape.
Join us as thought leaders from government and industry share what they have learned about taking visibility into your systems and networks and turning it into concrete steps to mitigate risk.
Learning Objectives:
- Assess your agency’s CDM tools to identify monitoring blind spots.
- Specify the requirements for CDM tools that fill these gaps and seamlessly integrate with your current systems.
- Define the metrics to evaluate security posture improvements through tools that break down security silos.
