Human Systems Insights
AI persona generation offers transformative potential for human factors research, in particular for the design and evaluation of adaptive and complex systems. However, its effective use demands methodological rigor, interdisciplinary validation, and ELSI oversight to enable future innovations. In this HSInsight, Dr. Noelie Creaghe will address the impact of new AI persona generation capabilities on the age of human factors research. Dr. Creaghe is a Senior Behavioral and Cognitive Research Scientist at Leidos Innovation Center whose work focuses on behavioral psychology, cognitive modeling, and psycholinguistic approaches to improve understanding of human-human and Human-Machine Interaction. She leads the Human Systems Integration team. An expert in Human Subject Research (HSR) and survey and training designer, she has successfully contributed her expertise to over a dozen DARPA and IARPA projects over the last five years. She received her Ph.D. in Psychology from the Australian National University in 2020.
