Enhancing SOC Analyst Capability Through Zero Trust with ServiceNow Security Operations and Tanium

Cyber defense teams continue to face mounting challenges, from fragmented toolsets and limited visibility to an expanding attack surface that complicates Zero Trust adoption. These issues hinder mission assurance and expose security gaps across public sector environments.

In this tech talk, attendees learned how ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) and Tanium work together to deliver cyber readiness, real-time visibility, and rapid threat response aligned with NIST SP 800-207 – Zero Trust Architecture.

The session explored five of the seven Zero Trust Pillars, demonstrating how Tanium’s live endpoint data and ServiceNow’s automated workflows help cyber teams proactively detect threats, enforce STIG compliance, isolate assets, and orchestrate remediation efforts. Real-world use cases highlighted how this integrated solution supports EO 14028 and NSM-8 to strengthen Zero Trust implementation across the enterprise.
