NYS AI for Everyone: Discovering Day 1 Use Cases

Attendees joined us for an interactive, half-day workshop designed for New York State employees of all backgrounds, including agency leaders, business users and IT administrators. • Practical Day 1 Demos: Attendees watched how Gemini, NotebookLM and other AI tools available today could instantly summarize policies, draft complex communications and analyze agency documents in seconds.
• Rapid Use Case Discovery: Participants collaborated to brainstorm and prioritize high-impact, easy-to-adopt AI use cases tailored to their department's daily needs.
• No-Code Prototyping: Attendees stepped into a hands-on sandbox to build custom, secure digital assistants (Gems) without writing a single line of code.
• Actionable Next Steps: Participants identified practical ways to measure success and developed a clear, realistic 30-day pilot roadmap to bring these quick wins back to their teams.
