In Utah, elevation is more than a number on a map. It is a way of thinking: looking farther, aiming higher, and embracing the challenge of what comes next.

“NGAUS Elevated” is more than a conference theme - it is a commitment to raising the standard for the future of the National Guard. Against the backdrop of Utah’s Wasatch Mountains, the 2027 NGAUS 149th General Conference & Exhibition will bring together over 4,000 Guard leaders, service members, industry partners, elected officials, and advocates to advance the ideas, partnerships, and capabilities that strengthen America’s defense.

For generations, the National Guard has answered the call at home and abroad, adapting to emerging threats while remaining grounded in the communities it serves. NGAUS elevated reflects that enduring responsibility and the need to continuously elevate readiness, modernize the force, support military families, and ensure Guard members have the resources they need to fight and win.

In Salt Lake City, August 27-30, 2027, we will gather not only to celebrate the Guard’s legacy, but to shape its future. Together, we will elevate the conversation, elevate the mission, and elevate the National Guard’s role in defending our nation.
