Building an ITAR Compliance Program is a comprehensive, four‑week hybrid course designed to equip trade compliance professionals with the knowledge, structure, and practical tools needed to develop, strengthen, or modernize a Compliance Program aligned with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

4-Week Program | Live webinars on Fridays

The plan for each week is as follows:

  • Participants are responsible for viewing a short video (45-90 minutes) before the day of the webinar for that week.
  • On the day of the live webinar, participants will attend a 2-hour live webinar on Fridays with the instructor to discuss the video (Step 1) and for Q&A.
  • The participant will take the exam on the topics discussed.
  • Steps 1-3 will be repeated for three more weeks (for a total of four weeks).
This course will prepare you for the CIP – Certified ITAR Professional Certification Exam.

A half-day, instructor-led course covering EAR fundamentals for trade and compliance professionals engaged in global business operations. Topics include general prohibitions, Commerce Control List (CCL) navigation and classification, license requirements and exceptions, record-keeping, and determining who must comply with U.S. export controls.

The course takes a practical approach — walking attendees through how to assess whether their products or technology require an export license and how to apply the EAR in real business scenarios. Interactive and expert-led, participants leave with a working knowledge of the EAR and the tools to apply it confidently from day one.

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) Compliance Training webinar is designed to help you and your firm understand the intricacies of these regulations. The penalties available under ITAR to the U.S. Department of State are significant; they are there to ensure compliance. Financial penalties are a given, but a firm may be debarred from exporting or from doing business with the U.S. government. Plus they can be personal, individuals may be debarred from government contracts, imprisoned, and/or fined.
