Small Business Event - Information Technology & Multimedia Services



The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston, TX is hosting a Matchmaking event for the future re-competition of the Information Technology and Multi-Media Services (ITAMS) contract. The purpose of this event is to seek capability presentations from all interested small businesses, including Small Business (SB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), 8(a), Women-owned Small Business (WOSB), Veteran-owned Small Business (VOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Business, and Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority Serving Institutions (HBCU) and (MSI).

The results of this matchmaking event will be used as market research in determining set aside considerations for the follow-on competition. The following are areas of interest for market research purposes: Multi-media, IT Security, IT Applications Development and Data Storage, and External Affairs. Representatives of the customer organization, Information Resources Directorate (IRD), will be present as well as the IRD Technical Small Business Coordinator, the JSC Small Business Specialists, and the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officers Representative.  The current ITAMS contract is a small business set-aside award, and is a cost-plus-incentive fee contract, with a period of performance of 01/18/2011 to 01/17/2016 (with all options) and a NAICS of 541513. The current Statement of Work (SOW) for the ITAMS contract is attached for your information. Please review this document to help aid your company in deciding which fields to choose from to schedule your matchmaking session.

The matchmaking event will take place on Monday September 9 and Tuesday September 10, 2013, from 08:00 a.m - 04:00 p.m., CDT, at the Gilruth Recreation Center at the Johnson Space Center.

You may sign up for no more than 3 time slots in your company area of interest. Please submit and fill-out as part of your RSVP the Small Business Counseling Checklist. Times will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.  

NOTE: This event is to invite you to present your company capabilities and areas of interest with respect to the ITAMS requirements as well as meet our IRD customer. However, there is no procurement strategy at this time as the Governments intent for this event is for market research purposes only. No solicitation exists at this time; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS). It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis.
