Measuring Health Outcomes to Inform Policy

Within health research and practice, health outcomes are increasingly acknowledged as a valid and appropriate indicator of service need and intervention. However, two of the fundamental questions within the health sector is what exactly is a health outcome and secondly how can it be measured? When health outcome measurements are used correctly, they then can be used to advance policy and funding.

The conference will focus on how data can improve performance and innovation within organisations, how health measurements can redesign policy and how health outcomes can be linked to funding decisions. With contributions from government representatives and health organisations, you will receive a toolkit to implement these strategies within your own organisation.

Attend & learn how to:

• Use data to inform policy and strategic planning
• Improve health outcomes through policy design
• Develop policies to inform budget decisions
