HVM Graphene+ 2014 Oxford

The HVM series of conferences has been running since 2002, bringing together parties interested in high value manufacturing and business value creation for various industries.

This year the event builds on the success in Cambridge in November 2013, with a conference covering applications for the electronics, semiconductors, aerospace, automotive, health, packaging & energy through the wider carbon-based functional materials, coatings & composites, including graphene & 2d planars, carbon nanotubes, diamond-like carbon, novel diamonds and related materials whose applications range across large global growth markets and where research & innovation are key.

The Conference is unique because it sets graphene & carbon-based nanotubes alongside other functional materials, has a focus on pricing strategy in that real, competitive marketplace combined with a tradition in high-value manufacturing where materials are selected for their relevance and value or disruption to actual industrial applications.

CIR have been organising and innovating across HVM and Smart Conferences & Briefings since 2002, with over 3000 delighted delegates.

Who attends? Corporate & venture investors, angels, entrepreneurs, visionaries, startups, vendors, buyers, manufacturers & service providers, energy, sensors, electronics, capacitors, design & engineering consultancies & technology companies come together to find new applications and revenue streams to address global demand, and to develop the relationships that will accelerate their growth.

This Conference is chaired by Professor Dobson of Oxford University & will begin with a wide-ranging introduction to research, theory and applications by Professor Falko of Lancaster University. There are talks from Oxford Instruments plc, NPL, Oxford, Cambridge, Brunel University, Cambridge Graphene Platform, Applied Nanolayers, Oerlikon, Intrinsiq Materials, Thomas Swan, Cambridge Nanosystems, Carbodeon, M-Solv, GrapheneSIG, KTN, 3M, Sharp.
