Measuring Social Outcomes
Measuring social outcomes allows us to know and show our work (or our investment) is making a difference for individuals and communities.
Australia’s social sector and its funders have recognised this and are working to get to grips with it. For example, state governments are developing outcomes frameworks for commissioning and purchasing, foundations are allocating resources on the basis of outcomes, and corporates are seeking to better understand the impact of their community investments.
This conference will explore this and how organisations can measure their outcomes most effectively. It will focus, in particular, on how organisations can take the next steps in their measurement journeys.
