About the Event:

The past ten years of war have dramatically improved the IC’s ability to collect intelligence. With ever increasing technology and sophistication of sensors, the amount of information being collected has overwhelmed analysis systems and current processes. Today the Armed Services and Defense Agencies must accelerate the development and fielding of initiatives focused on the optimization of processing, exploitation and dissemination of capabilities to achieve greater automation of intelligence and data.

Intelligence organizations across government have an opportunity to exploit large data sets in order to produce actionable intelligence. The technology to visualize and exploit large, unstructured data sets provides the IC with a unique opportunity to dramatically improve their effectiveness and efficiency.
