Digital Health Innovation - a Federal Health perspective
We are very excited to announce the lineup for the September 25th Digital Health Xchange event, focused on innovation and Federal Health IT. With an eye forward, the panelists for this session will discuss their approach for spurring innovation and conducting evaluations of new approaches that reward efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability.
We have a great lineup of speakers from across the Federal Health landscape, including perspective from DoD, CMS,ONC NIH, HHS and VA. We will be limiting attendance to just over 100, so register soon to secure your spot.

- Francis McVeigh,OD, MS, Chief Scientist, Advanced Technologies and Innovation Laboratory, Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC), USA Medical Research and Materiel Command. TATRC is involved in health IT and innovation research from the point of care on the battlefield through the health care systems' evacuation and medical units back to the medical centers. (confirmed)
- Ahmed Haque, Director of the Delivery System Reform division at the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC). Additionally, Ahmed serves as a Senior Advisor to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Innovation Center. In this role, Mr. Haque coordinates the alignment of interoperable health IT for care delivery transformation, population health management, and the new payment and care delivery models. (confirmed)
- James McClain, PhD, MPH - Program Director & Wireless Technology Specialist at NIH National Cancer Institute. James supports an NCI portfolio focused on developing mobile and web-based software technologies to integrate diverse sensor-based, self-report, and patient-reported outcomes measures for clinical and behavioral health assessment, monitoring, and research.
