U.S. Department of State Cyber Day
The Cyber Security Exposition, hosted by the Bureau of Information Resource Management, will focus on cyber security measures used by government, personal, and private sector Internet users.
The expo is open to all Department of State (DoS) employees and contractors.
In past years over 300 people from DOS participated in this event, including: Security Technicians, Program Managers, Web Managers, Management Analysts, Network Engineers, Information Resource Specialists and Computer Specialists.
The Cyber Expo is in support of the DoS mission to "create a more secure, democratic, and prosperous world for the benefit of the American people and the international community."
The following areas are of interest to DoS: anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-malware, network monitoring, attack sensing, intrusion detection, intrusion prevention, behavioral modeling, node discovery, incident response, computer forensics, certification and accreditation, continuing education, wireless security, node scanning, training products, cyber crime, awareness products and services.
