ChallengeHER Norfolk for Women Business Owners

WHAT:

ChallengeHER is a national initiative designed to promote the Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Federal Contract Program, bring more women-owned firms into the federal government’s supply chain provide an avenue for government agencies to meet qualified women-owned small business contractors.

The Norfolk ChallengeHER event will educate female entrepreneurs about how they can participate in the WOSB Program and provide them with resources and knowledge to help grow their businesses through federal contracting. The event will also feature Contract Connections – free one-on-one meetings between small business owners and procurement officials and buyers.

WHO:

ChallengeHER is a joint initiative from the U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) and American Express OPEN, the small business division of the financial services company.
