Evolving the Government Acquisition Marketplace 

Today's Government acquisition environment is fragmented and leads to many agencies duplicating efforts and establishing redundant acquisition programs.  This meetings’ panel will focus on GSA's vision of mobilizing federal-wide expertise and guidance to improve federal buying by creating the "Government Acquisition Marketplace", to assist in procurement decision making for all government buyers.  A moderated panel will describe how GSA's Federal Acquisition Service will work with other agencies in constructing a Government Acquisition Marketplace resulting in cost savings, reduced duplication of acquisition programs, and better procurement decisions.
