Laurence Hart, Information Consultant, Strategist, Advisor


A proven leader in Content and Information Management, Laurence has two decades of experience solving the challenges organizations face as they implement and deploy information solutions. The author of Word of Pie, Laurence is a respected voice in the industry, contributing to multiple publications and speaking regularly on Content and Information Management and how technology can address the challenges people face today and tomorrow.


Laurence helps organizations develop and implement their Content Management and Information Governance strategies. He has led a wide range of projects including content digitization, Records Management, BPM, and Collaboration for commercial, defense, and federal civilian agencies. These projects have spanned multiple technologies from proprietary systems, such as Documentum and SharePoint, to open source solutions including Alfresco and Nuxeo.

 

April Chen, Product Manager, Iron Mountain Government Services


April is a Product Manager in Iron Mountain’s Government business. She is responsible for Iron Mountain’s federal content management and document conversion solutions.  She has managed several projects facilitating the success of thought leadership within an organization, including Iron Mountain’s Federal Information Asset Framework.  Prior to Iron Mountain, she worked as a Consultant in revenue management and contracting for the healthcare industry. April graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.

 

Dexter Harris, Senior Manager, TeleSolv Consulting


Mr. Harris has extensive experience in organizational strategy, business process re-engineering, program / project management, and implementing organizational change and transformation. With his experience, team leading capabilities, and customer support skills, Mr. Harris is able to quickly and accurately assess a client's situation / environment and deliver customized solutions to fit their needs.   Current and previous clients include  the United States Air Force, the USO, the Student and Exchange Visitor Program within ICE and the Departments of Commerce and Education. Mr. Harris graduated from Brown University and holds an MBA from the Kenan Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina.   

 

Patricia A. Burke, Industry Strategist, Public Sector, Open Text Corporation


Patricia A. Burke is OpenText’s Public sector industry strategist. She brings more than thirty years of government and corporate experience overseeing the design, development, and management of IT systems, designing and managing global compliance programs and consulting on management information systems, cyber-security outreach, and organization change. For twenty years at US Customs and Treasury, Ms. Burke managed and streamlined organizations and processes. With SRA International and Sandler & Travis, Ms. Burke managed programs and consulted on business and organization transformation for USAID, Federal Acquisition Institute, SBA, USDA, FDA and DHS. She assisted companies, such as VF, Gucci, Walmart, General Motors, Kohl’s with import compliance and International Paper with market planning and penetration strategies.  A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and The Ohio State University, Ms. Burke is a founding member of Washington’s Women In International Trade (WIIT), served on the board of Women in Technology (WIT), an insurance company Audit Committee, and is active in American Council for Technology-Industry Advisory Council.

 

Tom Utiger, Information Lifecycle Governance Solution Architect, IBM Global Business Services


Mr. Utiger is Solution Architect in IBM's Global Business Services. He is responsible for delivering records management, data retention and eDiscovery solutions. He has been key in developing Structured Data archiving and retention solutions. Prior to joining IBM Mr. Utiger has been a records management consultant, product manager for SaaS based services, and a software developer. Mr. Utiger graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Physics.
