NGA Industry Day 2015

Information-sharing and partnering are essential for keeping our nation ahead of today’s complex security threats. To facilitate government-industry innovation, AFCEA Intelligence and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) are sponsoring a full-day classified (SECRET) event dedicated to identifying areas of possible collaboration and business opportunity to help enable and accelerate NGA’s strategic vision. The event will be held at NGA’s Springfield facility on March 16, 2015.

NGA Director, Robert Cardillo, will kick off the day, sharing his perspective on the importance of the partnership between NGA and industry and how to best leverage that relationship to provide the tools, advanced technology, sophisticated techniques, and specialized expertise that enable Team NGA to provide decisive mission consequence for its customers.

Throughout the day, specific emphasis will be placed on providing information so that companies can better:

• Understand NGA’s needs and challenges
• Identify potential partnering opportunities
• Structure research and development toward assisting with the agency’s priorities
• Anticipate upcoming business opportunities to include future Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI)

Ms. Susan Gordon, NGA’s Deputy Director, will provide closing remarks summarizing the agency’s priorities for the near term.
