ACT-IAC Small Business Alliance presents Straight Talk featuring Jose Arrieta

Join the ACT-IAC Small Business Alliance for Straight Talk with Jose Arrieta from the Department of Treasury on January 21st at the Metro Center Marriott in Washington, DC.  Jose Arrieta is the first Treasury Senior Executive Director of the Office of Small Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU).  Mr.  Arrieta leads a treasury wide program consisting of 18 small business specialists that ensured almost $1.2B in spend with small businesses in FY 2014. 

During this collaborative discussion Mr.  Arrieta will talk about changes on the horizon for the OSDBU function and training small business specialists as well as their engagement in the acquisition life cycle.  Mr.  Arrieta will talk about how a small business can position themselves for growth by targeting the right procurement opportunities and investing in infrastructure.  Lastly, he will discuss new opportunities on the horizon and changes in small business regulations across the Federal Government.
