The Rocky Mountain Chapter of the American Council for Technology & Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC) is pleased to announce that Mike Anderson, Vice President of Marketing from ReliAscent and member of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Region VIII Regulatory Fairness Board, will speak at The Egg & I on March 10th about DCAA Compliance, the SBA’s Ombudsman and the Regulatory Fairness Board.

During this presentation Mike will be addressing the history of the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and the regulations that typically apply. He will discuss types of contracts and audits, as well as the risk of audits. He will also discuss the National Ombudsman and how the Regulatory Fairness Board helps the National Ombudsman. The National Ombudsman’s mission is to assist small businesses when they experience excessive or unfair federal regulatory enforcement actions. Finally, Mark will discuss key regulatory fairness tools, including the comment and review process, agency ratings, hearing and roundtables, and regulatory fairness boards.

Breakfast and coffee will be available starting at 7:30 am.
