SWAT Tactics Program

The OpTac International SWAT Tactics Program will be held July 16-17, 2015 in Hagerstown, Maryland.

This program tactically prepares law enforcement commanders, team leaders, and SWAT/police personnel for situations that they are likely to encounter on a wide array of high-risk operations. An emphasis is placed on dynamic entry tactics, advantages and disadvantages of ballistic shields, injured officer/citizen rescue, officer safety, and proper cover techniques. In addition, operations planning and execution, verbal and nonverbal communication, an overview of stealth entries, and vehicle takedowns are covered.

Classroom presentations and walk-throughs provide an understanding of optimal positioning on approach and at the breach point, along with tactical entry options.

The cost to attend the OpTac International SWAT Tactics Program is $399 per person. There is limited space available, therefore, paid reservations are accepted on a priority basis.
