Procurement Division Meeting

The bi-monthly Procurement Division meeting will be held at NDIA on Monday, July 13, 2015. Space is limited to 40 attendees. On Tuesday, July 14, 2015, the Procurement Division and Committee Meetings, with a General Session and Luncheon, will be held at Jenner & Block, LLP.

PROCUREMENT DIVISION SPECIAL TOPICS FORUM – JULY 13

On Monday, July 13, 2015, the two day bi-monthly Procurement Division meeting kicks off with a Special Topics Forum. Ms. Emily Gartland, Outreach and Stakeholder Management, Integrated Award Environment, United States General Services Administration will discuss mandatory contract reporting, including current and future policies and areas for improvement from 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM.

Following Ms. Gartland, Mr. David Ogden, Partner, Chair Government and Regulatory Litigation Practice Group, WilmerHale will discuss Fixing the False Claims Act from 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM.

Mr. Steve Trautwein, Director, Cost and Pricing Center, Defense Contract Management Agency will discuss the progress of the commercial pricing cell, Contract Business Analysis Repository (CBAR), from 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM.  All are very keen to hear defense industry feedback and views.

COMMITTEE MEETINGS AND SPEAKER LUNCHEON – JULY 14

On Tuesday, July 14, 2015, following a General Session, the Contract and Acquisition Management, Contract Finance, and Legal Committees of the Procurement Division will meet to work through items on each Committee’s agenda.

For lunch, Mr. Kenneth Brennan, Deputy Director Services Acquisition, Office of Defense Procurement and Acquisition Policy will join the Procurement Division to brief on DoD Instruction 5000.02 for services.
