Creech AFB - Cyber Security Awareness & Technology Day



The Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA) – Las Vegas Chapter, with support from the 432d Wing, will host the 4th Annual Cyber Security Awareness & Technology Day at Creech AFB on Thursday, March 5, 2014. This is an excellent opportunity for technology, cyber and tactical technology companies to meet with remote personnel at Creech AFB.

 

This event will take place in the Dining Facility at Creech (DFAC) where the 2015 event took place.

 

Space is limited to 20 exhibitors. Reserve your space early. This is the only event that will take place at Creech in 2016. 

About AFCEA Las Vegas
The Armed Forces Communications Association (AFCEA) Las Vegas Chapter. AFCEA is a non-profit membership association serving the military, government, industry, and academia as an ethical forum for advancing professional knowledge and relationships in the fields of communications, IT, intelligence, and global security. AFCEA chapters and sub-chapters give engineers, programmers, managers, government officials and military personnel continuing opportunities to exchange ideas about communications, intelligence, imaging and information systems technologies. Nearly one-half of AFCEA's chapters conduct symposia and seminars in addition to other chapter activities. The AFCEA Las Vegas chapter members, and chapter leaders, consist of Information Technology Officers' and personnel from Nellis AFB, Creech AFB, as well as industry partners.

About Creech AFB
Creech AFB, located 45 minutes NW of Nellis AFB, incorporates aircrew training and the supporting, directing and coordination of combat sorties halfway across the world. The host unit at Creech is the 432d Wing, which has six operational squadrons and one maintenance squadron. 

Creech is the home to the famed "Hunters" of the 432d Wing and 432d Air Expeditionary Wing, the MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper, which are unmanned aerial vehicles used regularly in Afghanistan and Iraq. The base is also home to the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Battlelab. The base also hosts the operations of the 556th Test and Evaluation Squadron and 99th Ground Combat Training Squadron, and those of the Air Force Reserve's 78th Reconnaissance Squadron and Nevada Air National Guard's 232d Operations Squadron.
