Join the Alaska World Affairs Council on Friday, February 26th from 12-1pm at the Hilton Hotel for the program, Turkey’s Role in the Shaping of a New Middle East presented by Dr. Sinan Ciddi. Doors open at 11:30am. This event is open to the public and admission varies.
Speaker and Presenter Information
Dr. Ciddi is a professor and researcher at Georgetown University in addition to serving as the Executive Director of the Institute of Turkish Studies. The author of several articles and book chapters on contemporary Turkish politics and foreign policy, Dr. Ciddi has also established the Turkish Studies program at the University of Florida’s Center for European Studies.
