Practical Examples of Delivering Cyber Security at a Water Utility Webinar
Following Kevin Morley’s recent webinar “Managing Cyber Risks to Water Utility Business and Control Systems (W150909),” this webinar will examine examples of actual cyber security work being done at a small, a medium-sized, and a large water utility. The intent is to help other utilities understand the threats, challenges, and practical aspects of successfully deploying and managing such security measures. The object of the webinar is to help utilities understand where to begin, if they’re just beginning work on cyber security measures, or to provide supplemental collaboration if work is already under way or mature.
Learning Objectives:
- Better understanding of cyber security threats and apply the knowledge
- Review the status of the water industry’s response, understanding what strategies need to be implemented
- Use case examples from small, medium-sized, and large utilities to develop appropriate local tactics
- Initiate local processes, tools, and services in the individual organization
- Establish ongoing management to address evolving cyber security solutions
