The Changed Federal Small Business Contracting Rules

Whether you are a small business prime competing for set-aside opportunities or are a large prime trying to meet your subcontracting goals, learn about the significant changes in federal small business contracting rules and how it impacts your business. New rules and procedures from SBA took effect on June 30, 2016 and many more changes recently have been put into place while others are on the horizon.

For example, among the changes made by SBA’s May 31 final rule are requirements related to limitations on subcontracting and the treatment of “similarly situated” entities; defining affiliation and joint ventures; subcontracting plans and recertification requirements; recertification, size status protests, and more. Other changes include size standard revisions and credit for subcontract awards.

The event will start at 8:30 a.m. with registration, networking and breakfast. The program will start promptly at 9 a.m.
