NICE (National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education) Conference 2016

For the past 42 years, the Federal Business Council has produced thousands of symposiums, expositions, training forums, and conferences, both on-site and off, for the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and civilian agencies. 2016 stands to improve upon our schedule, with over 100 events planned.

Join us on November 7-8, 2017 for the NICE (National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education) Conference 2017!

Cybersecurity has emerged as one of the leading creators of jobs and opportunity for all economic sectors. The demand for cybersecurity positions in both the public and private sector is large and growing, but the talent pool of cybersecurity workers is not yet able to keep up. The NICE 2017 Conference and Expo features thought leaders from education, government, industry and non-profits who are addressing the cybersecurity education, training, and workforce needs of the nation. This two-day event includes:

• Face-to-face convening of public-private partners
• An opportunity to signal NICE strategic directions and priorities
• Forum to showcase best practices

This year’s theme, “Challenging the Status Quo: Building a Robust and Sustainable Cybersecurity Ecosystem,” was chosen to inspire presentations that aim to shape the way in which the nation identifies, educates, trains and builds a 21st century cutting-edge Cybersecurity Ecosystem. Presentations should focus on ways to promote and energize employers, government, businesses, educators, and the workforce to offer new opportunities to build a lively community full of ideas that solve one of our biggest challenges: building a capable and robust cybersecurity workforce.
