Counter-Suicide Bomber Operations and Planning

To enable specialist counter-terrorism operators & commanders, as well as planners, policy and decision-makers from the government, military and law enforcement communities to understand and employ the gamut of overt and covert capabilities and options required to defeat suicide bombers in permissive and hostile environments, - across the strategic, operational and tactical threat spectrum.

Suicide IEDs have become one of the terrorists’ preferred weapon of choice. They are inexpensive, relatively easy to produce, difficult to counter and have a palpable risk/reward ratio for the perpetrator. As seen in contemporary conflicts around the world, the threat from suicide bombers presents numerous domestic and expeditionary challenges in terms of tactics, techniques and procedures, as well as wider policy and equipment procurement issues; they also have an incredibly damaging effect on people and critical-infrastructure.

Designed specifically with public sector security professionals in mind, the MKDS Training Counter-Suicide Operations and Planning course is a fully immersive training experience that introduces delegates to a number of real-World scenarios in the form of multi-media case studies and highly interactive instruction in tactics, techniques and procedures necessary to assist operators/planners in the defeat of suicide bombers in both permissive and hostile environments.  This is a unique training Programme vailable to public and private sector security professionals that adequately identifies and addresses the full-spectrum of threats, responses and counter-measures required to defeat this deadly and determined method of terrorist attack.
