Military Virtual Training and Simulation Summit

"Ensuring A Mission Ready Force Through Virtual Training and Simulation"

The 2017 Military Virtual Training & Simulation Summit allows US Military, government agencies, educational leaders, and solution-providers to come together in a town-hall forum to discuss the current and future direction of virtual training & simulation. This program will incite discussion surrounding virtual reality and simulation as a superior military training tool due to its cost-effectiveness and pragmatic nature.

New Topics for this year's summit:

  • Providing simulation, training, and instrumentation capabilities to support decisive action operations

  • Leading coordination of Army M&S enterprise and cross-community areas including, joint, intergovernmental, interagency, and multinational environments

  • Understanding and considering the limitations of human factors in creating effective simulator training systems

  • Increasing weapons system complexity and changing threat environment requiring M&S and LVC solutions to evolve in times of budget constraint

  • Providing both physical and simulated environments designed to place test articles in a realistic yet simulated combat environment

  • Developing and integrating virtual, constructive and gaming replications of the operational environment

  • Accomplishing training through virtual and simulated training systems that support motor transport tactical vehicles, convoy operations scenarios, organic weapons marksmanships and tactics, and combat supporting arms for active and reserve members

  •  Assisting the DoD to use M&S in a cost-effective manner through tools, policies, standards, guidance, and collaborative forums
  • Enabling the Army’s future training through the usage of Synthetic Training Environment

  • Incorporating live-virtual-constructive architecture with aviation simulators, armor, infantry and Stryker simulations

At Our Summit You Will Have the Ability to:

  • Gain Education & Insight: Walk away with knowledge gained from our senior level speakers on some of the complex challenges facing intelligence officers and analysts
  • Build Partnerships: The agenda is designed to allow for ample networking opportunities and the ability to engage in constructive dialogue among all in attendance.
