Public Procurement Technology Symposium
Technology is changing procurement—in nearly all aspects.
Whether it's data visualization and spending transparency, or marketplaces that make it easier to shop and compare offerings, or blockchain and its ability to streamline processes, procurement technology is reshaping and transforming the way governments purchase and suppliers interact with government. The benefits stretch to government programs, procurement and acquisition professionals, suppliers who work or want to work with government, and ultimately taxpayers who stand to get a more effective government.
Public Spend Forum, in collaboration with academia and experts from state/local/federal and global institutions, will host a public procurement technology symposium focused on educating public sector practitioners, suppliers and other practitioners on the benefits of and the market landscape for procurement technology.
Overview of Symposium
The first of its kind, the Public Procurement Technology Symposium will be held October 18, 2017 Online and in Washington, D.C., bringing together government practitioners, suppliers, influencers, and decision-makers who are seeking ways to improve government procurement and the government marketplace.
